Subject: Official Communication Channels & Telephone Security

Indira Gandhi National Institute of Technology & Management wishes to inform all students, parents, applicants, visitors, and stakeholders that the Institute has decided not to publish a direct telephone number on its official website.

This decision has been taken as a precautionary administrative measure following instances of unsolicited calls, spam communications, promotional calls, and unauthorized persons attempting to contact students or stakeholders in the name of the Institute.

For the protection of students and stakeholders, all official queries, requests, verification matters, admissions-related communications, and other correspondence should be submitted through the official email address or the online Contact/Enquiry facility provided on the Institute’s website.

Important Security Advisory

The Institute advises everyone:

• Do not share OTPs, passwords, banking details, card information, or other confidential information with unknown callers.
• Do not rely on information received from unauthorized persons claiming to represent the Institute.
• Verify important communications through the Institute’s official communication channels.
• Report any suspicious or misleading communication to the Institute Administration.

The non-publication of a telephone number is intended solely to strengthen communication security, protect stakeholder privacy, and ensure orderly administrative functioning.
